Teamsnap is a communication outlet for both parents and students that we use here at Penguin Empire. Parents are expected to contribute to the club through donations, driving, mentoring, or providing food during build season. Parents provide transportation during competitions such as the San Francisco Regional and the Davis Regional. Parents must also provide food for the club during the build season. Over the weekends during the build season, we work from 10 to 4 so we will need lunch. Snacks during the week are also appreciated and help maintain moral. Parents are encouraged to donate to the club, with at least a $100 donation, but it is not required. So they remain informed, parents are highly encouraged to attend a monthly parent meeting on the first Monday of every month.
