Capital City Classic

DAVIS, Calif.-- Penguin Empire Robotics participated in the Capital City Classic robotics competition from October 26 to 28. 

The Marin County-based robotics team finished the competition in 34th place with a record of 3 wins and 6 losses. This was the first time the team attended the competition, which is hosted annually at Davis Senior High School by Team 1678 Citrus Circuits.

“It was a well-run event,” Lead Mentor Mike Souza said. “Our robot had some issues, but our team handled it well and did not give up.”

Penguin Empire Robotics is a member of the FIRST Robotics Competition and plans to participate in the 2019 competition.
