Penguin Empire Robotics

Penguin Empire is a FIRST Robotics team based at San Marin High School in Novato, California. Established in 2007, we are a group of dedicated high school students who design, build, and program robots that will compete in competitions on a global scale. Our team has won multiple awards, including the Sacramento Regional Innovation in Control Award and placed second in the 2017 CalGames competition. We reached the semifinals at the 2019 Sacramento Regional and went on to the 2019 FIRST Championship in Houston. Most recently, this past season we won the Roku Automation Engineering Award at the Sacramento and San Francisco Regionals.

Kickoff 2023 - Charged Up!

For this season's challenge we are building a robot to meet the challenge. This year's sponsor is Haas so the theme for this year's competition is focused on power and renewable energy. This year during build season we are using CAD, a new addition to our skillset. For updates regarding our progress, check our Instagram!

The 2021-2022 Season

This year, we competed at the San Fransisco and UC Davis (Sacramento) Regional FIRST Robotics competitions. We were semi-finalists and received Creativity awards at both tournaments for our climbing system. Check out the photos from this season below.
